o.e.d.connectivity.apache.derby.ui's version is 1.0.2.xxx in dtp 1.8.0 project. o.e.d.connectivity.apache.derby.ui's version is 1.0.3.xxx in dtp 1.8.1 project. Birt 2.6.1 require DTP 1.8.1, so required items could not be found. Have 2 solution: 1. Add "http://download.eclipse.org/releases/maintenance" to available software sites,then going to 2.6 interim site and install Birt 2.6.1. 2. Directly access "http://download.eclipse.org/releases/maintenance",then install the latest Birt 2.6.1 feature. Mark as worksforme OK, I've added that info to the Wiki page so others don't run into same issue. |
From a 2.6.0 intall, going to the 2.6 interim site and selecting "BIRT Framwork" gets me: Your original request has been modified. "BIRT Framework" is already installed, so an update will be performed instead. Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
