This is a wishable feature related to recent bug 322327 contribution. 
The composite metamodel should be completed with facets allowing navigation from java and kdm.source elements (e.g. from a Java element a link should appear to navigate to the associated SourceRegion).

Hi,

Please find attached a patch with 2 facets addind a link to directly navigate from an AST to its javaNodeSourceRegion as well as links to navigate between a SourceFile and its CompilationUnit
