Description Marco A CLA 2010-08-14 21:48:08 EDT
Build Identifier: M20100211-1343

When I open a file and start doing some work, after some edits the IDE freezes and becomes non-responsive.

The bug happens every time, but sometimes it's the first thing I try to edit, other times instead I can work for 10 minutes before this happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a java file
2.Start editing it
3.After some time, while editing, the IDE freezes.

Looks like the same XPCOM call as bug 322143.
Comment 3 Marco A CLA 2010-08-15 12:26:13 EDT
I've solved the bug.
I had 2 versions of xulrunner, 1.9.1 for Galeon and 1.9.2 for Firefox. After removing xulrunner 1.9.1 to test I can't seem to be able to reproduce the bug again. I think that some code that decides which version of xulrunner to load fails to verify it's the right one and/or fails to choose the correct set of XPCOM calls that it can use with that version.
I'm not changing the status from NEW.
