I have workspace autosave enabled and set to 5 min. I would expect this save to include the changesets that I define in the Synchronize View. However when Eclipse crashes, all changes to the changesets that are defined are lost.

This is especially annoying as I usually leave Eclipse running without restarting it ever, so the only times when I close/reopen it is when it or Windows actually crashes for some other reason, e.g. OOM, JVM Bug, Windows problem, power outage.

Reproducible: Always

An eventual fix for bug 98299 sounds like a solution to this issue as well. Dominik, do you think I can mark it as a dupe?

Yep, if we ever get that, it would naturally be even better.
