With standard JPA Project (not the EE variety), validation is not occurring when a java or xml resource is modified.  In order to get Problems, the Validation must be manually started.

Verified in build I-3.3.0-20100901095216

Verified that when you create a JPA Project (not JPA EE variety) and update a .java or .xml file and save, Problems appear correctly for the project.
