Just saw mail on wtp-dev list after vacation.

The replacements for the function has been in WTP 3.0 or 3.1 (i can't remember exactly). The functions is given by the org.eclipse.wst.server.discovery and as soon as we introduce the new plugin, the functions being provided by this extension point and its packages was not in use.

Any news? The tomcat still uses it to download and install the tomcat binaries.
