Description Nicole Torcolini CLA 2010-08-07 20:27:59 EDT
I am using the JAWS 11.0 screen reader. JAWS does not read the package explorer correctly. When I move from one item to another, JAWS speaks the name of the item that previously had focus before speaking the name of the newly focused item. For example, say that projects in the package explorer are proj1 and proj2 and that the focus is on proj2. Up arrow is pressed to move to proj1. JAWS says "proj2 closed, 1 of 2, proj1 closed".

The same behavior is exhibited by the screen reader when in the project explorer view. Also, this bug did not exist in past versions. I cannot say exactly in which version this bug came about because, when I downloaded the lastest version of Eclipse, I jumped 3 or 4 versions.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
