log file has been attached as asked for. If you look at the log you will see an unsupported class version error. This means that you are running Eclipse with a version of Java that is older than the version where the CICS support is compiled. Move to a newer version of Java to host your Eclipse and you should be fine. I have figured out the reason, the 64 bit Helios Eclipse insist on using the Java Version 5. I have downloaded the 32 bit version of Helios Eclipse and it works fine with jre6, and the CICS explorer also works fine when I went for the higher version of Java. Thank for the advise. |
