Description toennies CLA 2010-08-06 10:29:38 EDT
Hi,

I tried to install EGit, JGit, Mylyn Trac Connector etc. and nothing worked because it was always stated that no repository for org.eclipse.team.cvs.ssh would exist.
I looked into the plugin folder and yes there was just the ssh2 jar.
Also in other Eclipse Bundles the ssh package is always missing.

I got the package from yoxos5 and copied it into the eclipse plugin folder and everythink worked fine.

I am using the RCP/RAP package myself on several platforms and my first steps include the installation of EGit, but I've never seen an error like that.

In order to track down the problem, could you please describe

* Which version / file you were downloading from eclipse.org?
* Which platform (Windows 7?) and which architecture (x86 or x86_64)?
* How did you try to install EGit etc.? With the standard Eclipse install manager from the Helios p2 repository? Or with the Marketplace Client from another place?
* Can you provide any logfile? http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_Where_can_I_find_that_elusive_.log_file%3F

Thanks.

Hi,

* Which version / file you were downloading from eclipse.org?
To verify the problem, I just downloaded everything again, right now.
I downloaded the current RCP Eclipse package through the eclipse.org website, choosing the AWS store. The checksum is: a1412001529db9eab59f629e98d89055

* Which platform (Windows 7?) and which architecture (x86 or x86_64)?
I am using Windows 7 with x86.

* How did you try to install EGit etc.? With the standard Eclipse install
manager from the Helios p2 repository? Or with the Marketplace Client from
  another place?
I choosed "Install new software" and the "Helios - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios" site. Here I selected EGit and JGit in Version 0.8.4.

* Can you provide any logfile?

No.

Now it works! So sorry for the Bug report. But it seams that in the current version everything works fine.
