The EditParts that represent UML Classifier (Class, DataType, StateMachine,...) and which have compartments should have the following EditPolicy : 
EditPolicy : org.eclipse.papyrus.diagram.common.editpolicies.ShowHideClassifierContentsEditPolicy
key : org.eclipse.papyrus.diagram.common.editpolicies.ShowHideClassifierContentsEditPolicy.SHOW_HIDE_CLASSIFIER_CONTENTS_POLICY

This action allows Show/Hide easily members and inherited members for the classifiers.
This action is available in the Filter Menu and in the ToolBar (the fantom icon!), or with the key F4 (Show/Hide Contents)

This action will replace the Show/Hide Inherited Properties/Ports in this diagram

In the attachment, you have the new GMFGen file with new features and the patch corresponding to the new feature in the GMFGen (for r2522).
Add the Show/Hide behavior for compartments  (bug 320361)
Add the Show/Hide contents for Classifiers (bug 321822)
