Description James Sutherland CLA 2010-08-04 10:05:05 EDT
The SunAS server platform should be renamed to GlassfishServerPlatform.

Also the target-server should check glassfish
Comment 1 Michael OBrien CLA 2010-08-04 10:31:26 EDT
>Makes sense, I ran across this issue when adding JMX support for bug# 316513 and decided to leave it as-is for bug# 316512.
It was decided in bug# 318892 that no subclass of the SunAS platform would occur because JMX functionality works for both 2.1 and 3.x.
The only remaining issue is how do we support legacy 9.x users of SunAS.
No work will be required for JMX as the packages and classes in services are already renamed glassfish.

patch for 2.4.1

backported the GlassfishPlatform class and JPA property support to EclipseLink 2.4.1. Deprecation and sessions.xml suppport was excluded from the patch - the SunAS9Platform is deprecated starting in EclipseLink 2.5.
