Description Ralf Sternberg CLA 2010-08-04 10:01:44 EDT
Currently, we have a text field called "Servlet name" in the launcher. The servlet name is always "rap", except for brandings. I think the dialog should rather reflect the parameters of the application to be started than the resulting URL. Therefore I's suggest to

1) Rename the label "Servlet name" to "Branding"
2) Move "Branding" below "Entry point", since using a branding is optional whereas an entry point is always needed
3) Leave the branding text field empty by default
4) Add a checkbox "Use a branding" that enables the otherwise disabled branding field

As of RAP 1.5, only workbench applications can have a branding. Plain RWT applications are customized using entrypoint parameters.
We already cleaned up the launcher UI and this bug is obsolete.
