I have a backlog of forum posts to which I would like to respond.

Well, it's certainly been updated to "more accurately reflect the anticipated
return of service"!

Sorry, I'd like to perform miracles but I can't.  The NNTP server simply won't restart on the upgraded machine, so I'm going for plan B.
