Save is inactive, although model is dirty none

Description benoit.jacquelin CLA 2010-08-02 04:36:13 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100617-1415

When Eclispe is opened and then model is editing, "save " works at the beginning and then it is impossible to save. Icones for save are not disabled when clicking on it and then the star on window model.di stays on it. Then, when you want to close your project, Eclispe ask for save your model, if you select yes, the model closes but when you reopen it, the save hasn't worked, so you have to restart your work and hope that "save" works. In my case, I worked on sequence diagram, and at the beginning "save" works, just three or four times but after "save" doesn't work anymore then I have to go forward slowly,ie I have to add few elements in my sequence diagrams then save and restart eclipse because if I add many elements I don't know if save will work. I think it is a general problem which concern all diagrams, because this problem happened when I modified some elements in the model explorer.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Papyrus
2.Edit a model
3.save your model three or four times by adding elements between each save
4.Continue to add elements or modify your model
5.Save your model until icone for save doesn't disable when you click on it or when you do the command ctrl+s , it means that save will not work anymore if you don't restart Eclipse

This usually happens, if an exception occurs during save. Can you please open the "error log" view (in general) and report, if there is an error (and if yes, which - of course).

It seems now that it runs. We have no receive error log in order to find more problems.
So I set this task as invalid

Save is inactive, although model is dirty

I had this bug a couple of times recently and could reproduce it with the latest 0.8.1 version (nightly build). See attached screenshot shows that save is inactive, although the model is dirty
Comment 4 Ansgar Radermacher CLA 2011-07-28 12:01:16 EDT
The error is actually easy to reproduce. The save is inactive, if the diagram itself is selected, but none of the elements within (this behavior is not the case in the 0.7.4 versin).

Hi, Cedric can you see this bug.
It seems that a event i not send to refresh the save button when diagram is selected
Comment 6 Camille Letavernier CLA 2012-07-30 08:09:25 EDT
This issue cannot be reproduced on the current nightly build.
