I'm looking for the locale ID for the language. I found "Persian - fa". Is that correct? (In reply to comment #1) > I'm looking for the locale ID for the language. I found "Persian - fa". Is that > correct? Yes, it is correct. The ID for Farsi language is "fa" According to my research, Farsi, Dari & Tajiki are modern varieties of standard Persian. We are going to use "Persian" as the language name and "fa" as the locale ID. This is great, Thank you very much. Please let me know when you are done and it is ready to be used. We finished adding "Persian" to the Babel server. Welcome aboard! You may start translating now! Great! Thank you so much. I started to check how does it work and I got a suggestion about the "Current Translation" box which you enter the translated text in it. This box is left-to-right by default and when you enter a Farsi sentence containing English words, the text gets messy. The same situation is hold for the "Last Translation" column which shows the translated text. What about to set the alignment of "Current Translation" box and "Last Translation" column to right-to-left for right-to-left languages? This way, translators will be able to see their translations as they will appear in eclipse. I mean the current user interface of the babel translation tool is not "What You See Is What You Get" for right-to-left languages. |
