This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and remove the stalebug whiteboard tag. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- |
Created attachment 175547 [details] Showing the difference between the "new application model" wizard and the "new product configuration" wizard When you use the context menu of a project to open the "new application model" wizard, the container is empty, altough we can assume it will be the selected project. Furthermore it takes three clicks to select the container ("browse", select in list, "ok"). If we compare this with the "new product configuration" wizard: * the parent folder is the project you selected * the list is in the dialog area, so it only takes 1 action to select another parent folder Conclusion: I guess it is an enhancement to let the "new application model" wizard have the same layout as the "new product configuration" wizard. It will also be more consistent, improving usability. In the end both wizard do the same: provide a filename, and the folder/container where we should put it.
