Currently, there is an undocumented URL parameter that allows choosing a theme by id like so:
  http://localhost:8080/rap?startup=controls&theme=org.example.mytheme
This is a leftover and should be removed.

Patch of the removed theme parameter support. This may be interesting for the "production" mode.

We could re-introduce (and document) this parameter in a "development mode" (see bug 320615). However, as Rüdiger pointed out in his comment (see patch), we could find a more suitable place to set the session attribute.
