Description
Anne Jacko
Lynn is defined as a conference chair for easy2010. The Sub System is designed to send emails to the PC and conference chair, and no one else. I (Denis Roy) just submitted a talk, and I've confirmed that I have no role on easy2010. Can you submit a private comment to make sure I don't see it? OK, just did a private comment on Denis's submission. Lynn, did you get email with this comment? No, I didn't get an email on the private comment to Denis' talk. Hmm, I would have thought Lynn would have received it. In any case, I, the author of the talk, did not get it. Well, that's good that the author didn't get it. It bothers me a bit that Lynn got an email with a private comment earlier, but didn't get this one -- that's not logical. I actually think it's OK if no email is sent when private comments are made. The PC can always view the comments within the submission system -- I don't see a strong need for them to be notified via email when a private comment is made. |
