Description linux387943 CLA 2010-07-19 11:23:01 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100617-1415

When you have to configure a proxy connection the CVS connections do not
work. I used the Helios version. When I used the Galileo version it works fine.

The CVS server is on the local network. The proxy is needed for internet connections.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. configure a proxy connection (HTTP, HTTPS)
2. go to the cvs perspective
3. configure a new cvs server
4. error message: SOCKS proxy timed out
5. when proxy configuration is changed to direct connection it works

Could you check if there is a .log file created cause of this error and if it does, attach it to this bug?
Comment 3 Wojciech Galanciak CLA 2010-09-30 11:25:26 EDT
.log file can be found in ../your_workspace/.metadata/ folder.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
