Description Steve Powell CLA 2010-07-19 11:20:43 EDT
We have a local build server that accesses org.eclipse.virgo.util.git on git.eclipse.org/gitroot.

Recently it has stopped building this repository -- hanging in 'checking for changes'.

Investigation has revealed that it has been polling for changes every 60 seconds.

Could this mean that git.eclipse.org has eventually got fed up with it and blocked this server from reading the repository?

If so, how do I get it unblocked. (I have now modified the server to only check every half-hour. This was a configuration error on our part.)

Access to the repository is fine manually form our ordinary workstations.

It's possible, but we do have a whitelist entry for Vmware, so unless you're on a separate network you should be ok. If you send me(via email if you prefer) your servers IP(http://whatsmyip.org) I'll take a look.

OK; I spent an hour looking at this, and just after I raised the bug the problem seems to have vanished.... builds now occurring fine.

Incidentally, the server's ip address is: 89.21.231.34 (according to myipaddress).

Thanks anyway. Closing this.
