1. File > New > Untitled Text File
2. Invoke Alt+Shift+F1 on the editor.
3. Click the 'TextEditor' link at the top.
4. The TextEditor.class editor opens in the back.

I haven't tested this on 3.x but can't possibly imagine this behaviour being correct.

Cannot reproduce on I20100727-1520.
