Steps:
1) Check out org.eclipse.core.contentype
2) Open org.eclipse.core.internal.content.ContentType in Java Editor
3) Open History View
4) In the editor open its context menu and choose Team > Show Annotation
5) When the operation is finished, see that the progress bar does not disappear

This bug has been there since pretty much day one but has always been a low priority for me. Will try to spend some cycles to investigate this this week.
