It wouldn't matter as they're not used in the current version. (In reply to comment #1) > It wouldn't matter as they're not used in the current version. Hello Nitin, some people still use Ganymede. I really would like to know. Pls. help me. No one on the current team has that expertise. Those JS plug-ins were developed prior to 1.0 and received very little attention afterward. Even in Ganymede, they were only present to satisfy dependencies for adopters and their contributions to the UI were disabled, i.e. there was no way to open that JS editor. "there was no way to open that JS editor" - so there was a separate editor related to *.fcrec files? In any case, as the link i sent says, jqueryWTP provides support for jquery content assist based on those *.fcrec kind of files. What would that mean if they are not considered in Ganymede? That the jqueryWTP plugin is for previous releseas of eclipse? For what version of Eclipse is jqueryWTP made? The site says: 13 October 2008 jQueryWTP 0.2 released, this release is for jQuery1.2.6. In 2008 Ganymede was released so i presume it was for it too. Where am i wrong? (In reply to comment #4) > "there was no way to open that JS editor" - so there was a separate editor > related to *.fcrec files? > > For what version of Eclipse is jqueryWTP made? I don't know anything about the jQueryWTP plug-in. The editor I referred to was the JavaScript editor whose code assist used the fcrec files. It was replaced with JSDT in Ganymede. It means it was for eclipse versions previous to Ganymede, even if there were releases of jqueryWTP event after Ganymede was released. Thank you. |
