Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a Vex Plug-in Project (e.g. <http://it-republik.de/zonen/magazine/ausgaben/psfile/source_file/14/voormannQ4b5f12f7c84f8.zip>
2. Create a Vex Document
3. Open the Document with "Vex XML Editor"
4. Exit Eclipse (keep Vex editor opened)
5. Restart Eclipse

Is:
Dialog pops up: "Vex does not recognize the document type ..."
If 'Cancel' then Vex Editor contains following text on grey background: "Unexpected error opening ..."
After editing + saving 'vex-plugin.xml' and closing + reopen XML file everything works as expected.

Should:
After restart document should be properly displayed (without a dialog).

This maybe related to bug 306639.

As an immediate bugfix I reverted the changes of bug 306639 to make it work again. See also bug 320796.
