(1)  Open Remote System Explorer Perspective
(2)  Show Remote Systems View
(3)  Click Add Connection icon
(4)  Select Linux as remote system type (the only choice available)
(5)  Enter host, name, and description.  Click Finish.
(6)  Error message (shown under Configuration details)
(7)  Connection appears in profile, but nothing happens when I click Connect

Googled this problem for an hour, to no avail.
