You probably pointed your browser at these URLs. Actually both URLs point to p2 repository meant for installing or updating Eclipse software. Try the following: - start Eclipse - Follow menu path "Help > Install New Software" - if you start from Eclipse Helios installation you may skip the following two steps - click "Add" - copy the URL and set a display name for this URL - if you are behind a firewall you need to setup the HTTP proxy, go to Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections and enter your HTTP proxy - then select the repository from the drop down list "Work with" - navigate to the egit feature - select it and click through the wizard to install it this works for me |
