Description Darin Wright CLA 2010-07-13 11:48:06 EDT
Ant UI needs to move to a 1.5 BREE as JDT UI is upgrading to 1.5. The following bunldes are affected:

/org.eclipse.ant.tests.ui
/org.eclipse.ant.ui
Comment 1 Darin Wright CLA 2010-08-31 11:11:22 EDT
Marking as won't fix for now. Ant does not need to move up just because JDT is.
Comment 2 Michael Rennie CLA 2012-01-05 11:08:45 EST
I am going to reopen this, who knows, maybe some day it will happen...
Comment 3 Michael Rennie CLA 2012-06-11 12:16:10 EDT
Talk on the mailing list is that once Ant moves to 1.8.3+ they will drop support for < 1.5 VMs.

Comment 4 Michael Rennie CLA 2012-06-11 12:18:20 EDT
It might also be good to look at upping the BREE for the orbit version of Ant

Comment 6 Michael Rennie CLA 2013-07-03 10:29:45 EDT
Fixed in: http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.git/commit/?id=7a87f12c35914ed6ae8e3cdd77abaea1c9787bf2

All the JUnit tests pass, we are also doing a complete test pass since there were so many files that were touched: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Ant/Testing/1.6BREE

Marking fixed, we can open any issues we find during testing in their own bugs.
Comment 7 Curtis Windatt CLA 2013-07-10 14:04:53 EDT
No problems found during my test pass using I20130709-0800
