Description Edwin Kempin CLA 2010-07-12 04:22:38 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100218-1602

Eclipse EGit (Incubation) 0.9.0.201006151520 org.eclipse.egit.feature.group
Eclipse JGit (Incubation) 0.9.0.201006151518 org.eclipse.jgit.feature.group

After a file has been deleted, the deleted file should not be found by the 'Open Type' Search (Ctrl+Shift+T).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import any project and share it via EGit
2. Go to the Java Perspective
3. Open the 'Open Type' Search with Ctrl-Shift-T, search for any existing class, for this issue let's say 'MyClass', and open it
4. Delete 'MyClass'
5. Open the 'Open Type' Search and search again for 'MyClass'
-> it is expected that 'MyClass' is not found after it has been deleted
6. See that 'MyClass' is still found although it has been deleted
7. Try to open 'MyClass' and see that it fails with the following error message: 'Type MyClass could not be found in ... Make sure all workspace resources are refreshed.'
8. Refresh all projects in the workspace and retry steps 5. to 7., see that the same error still occurs

I cannot reproduce that on Vista.

Does this error occur only when the project is shared with EGit team provider? Are there any other necessary preconditions?

I just checked and at the moment I'm also not able to reproduce the problem.
