So you're running a Java program that performs XSLT transforms or what? Yes, I installed Eclipse for PHP, which includes two XSL processors. They both appear to be written in Java. Those buttons control whether the console view should be popped to the top of the stack (so they are visible). They do not control whether std out/error are written out to the console.
