Description zackjo CLA 2010-07-08 01:56:19 EDT
This is my development environment.
----------------------------------------------------------
1. eclipse helios
2. jre 1.5
3. tptp.runtime-TPTP-4.7.0
----------------------------------------------------------

I want to use profiling monitor 'pre-JRE 1.5' and 'JRE 1.5 or newer' on the helios.

The 'JRE 1.5' supports both of them. doesn't it?

I actually don't know where this infomation correct. or not

My eclipse profiling Monitor shows just 'JRE 1.5 or newer'

How can i get 'pre-JRE 1.5' view and 'JRE 1.5 or newer' view in my eclipse profiling Monitor?

I want to know the differences between 'pre-JRE 1.5' and 'JRE 1.5 or newer' ?

What am i suppose to do... plz help me...

Hi, this is not a bug, this is the default behaviour when the workbench detects that a Java 5 JVM is being used. This is by design, in order to give preference to the newer profiler code base (JVMTI profiler) over the older profile codebase for Java 5 and up. While Java 5 will work with both profilers, the officially supported Java 5 profiler is the JVMTI profiler, which is the 'JRE 1.5 and newer' entry. The only way to use the older profiler is use a 1.4.2 JVM.
