Description

Hi, this is not a bug, this is the default behaviour when the workbench detects that a Java 5 JVM is being used. This is by design, in order to give preference to the newer profiler code base (JVMTI profiler) over the older profile codebase for Java 5 and up. While Java 5 will work with both profilers, the officially supported Java 5 profiler is the JVMTI profiler, which is the 'JRE 1.5 and newer' entry. The only way to use the older profiler is use a 1.4.2 JVM. This defect had been resolved as WONTFIX for more than 1 month. Closing this on the reporter's behalf. Please re-open if you have further comment on this issue. Closed in TPTP 4.7.2. |
