Shouldn't the for (Delta delta : resourceDescriptionDeltas) { ... } loop in org.eclipse.xtext.builder.builderState.MarkerUpdaterImpl.updateMarker(ResourceSet, ImmutableList<Delta>, IProgressMonitor) break when the monitor is canceled()? There can be a large amount of deltas and addMarkers can be an expensive operation. -Stephane
