Product: [Eclipse Project] Platform Reporter: Archimedes Trajano <developer>
Component: UIAssignee: Platform UI Triaged <platform-ui-triaged>
Status: CLOSED WONTFIX QA Contact:
Severity: trivial
Priority: P3
Version: 3.6
Target Milestone: ---
Hardware: PC
OS: Mac OS X - Carbon (unsup.)
Whiteboard: stalebug

Description Archimedes Trajano CLA 2010-07-06 23:17:15 EDT
Build Identifier:

In order to follow Mac HIG to make Eclipse more like a normal Mac application, the dialogs for exiting the application should be moved as a sheet and take the default fonts and sizes from the system if possible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Exit Eclipse
2. Dialog box pops up as a new window rather than a Sheet
Comment 1 Prakash Rangaraj CLA 2010-07-07 00:39:10 EDT
We are using Sheet styles for most of the dialogs in Platform UI. Which dialog are you referring to?
Comment 2 Archimedes Trajano CLA 2010-07-07 08:45:41 EDT
The exit dialog is one. Press Cmd-Q and it shows up as a dialog rather than a sheet that is attached on the main window.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
