Associated problem is that path tool cannot be launched from CCSv5 |
When the cdoc sg application is launched from the command line the following message is seen in the console: "warning: package xdc.tools.sg.linux_swt depends on the Mozilla browser for some functionality. Your environment doesn't currently point to Mozilla, so some XDC graphical tools may fail. To prevent this, please set up the following in your environment: - set the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME environment variable. Its value should be the directory that contains the file run-mozilla.sh, which you can find using the command locate run-mozilla.sh " Even when the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME and LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set according to the instructions the SG application does not work properly. Looking a bit deeper the linux SG app depends on 'libxpcom.so', 'libnullplugin.so' and 'libgtkembedmoz.so' which are not shipped with Ubuntu 9.10. A similar problem was reported with launching cdoc in Fedora 12 in the Linux forum at http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/f/354/p/53098/189398.aspx#189398
