When a configuration and/or profile is selected from Jad Editor the change is not reflected to the buildpath of the Midlet project. This is causing confusion because midlet that is targeted for CLDC 1.0 compiles on MTJ but does not work on the runtime environment where only CLDC 1.0 is supported.
