In fact, I wasn't aware of that until you pointed it out to me. I don't expect that a new user will notice the difference by just visiting this page and clicking the download button "as usual". IMO the differences should be much clearer. Currently it has a similar effect as changing a file format from text format to binary format and wondering that interpreting something as text does no longer work. This example is just figurative, but from a users point of view this change is of similar rank. Could you describe how the page could be made better? The expectation is that most downloads are repos these days. Closing. Please re-open if required. |
