Build Identifier: 

In the Edit Service Configuration wizard choose  C/C++ Development ->  Build.  Set the Provider to be RSE and select a remote server. Choosing the "Browse..." button to pick a Build Configuration Location only allows you to pick a folder on the local machine, yet a remote connection is chosen in the Browse window.
