SVN Client:	Error_NoSVNClient

Eclipse tells me it have downloaded some updates and I just click yes, go ahead, accept license. It then needs to restart. I let it. It then comes up with the SVN client selector window. I find this strange, since I've had this installed ages ago, and everything has been working fine. However, I select the highest SVNKit based available, which IIRC is 1.3 something. It seems to be about to install this, but then comes up with a cheap error dialog, which, after realizing that I can scroll in the one-visible-line multi-line text area, I understand as it won't do this install, as I have a newer version of SVN kit installed (which I also though, thus the wondering). But I figure OK, it realized, so everything is good, right?

No - now it says SVN client is not installed.

The "Choose connectors" thing shows 1.3.0. However, http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/update-site/ have 1.3.2. The choose connector, and indeed Subversive itself, apparently doesn't recognize the 1.3.2 anymore, and hence doesn't work (the version string and status symbols don't even appear on the tree) and thus apparently launches the choose connector dialog. However, since 1.3.2 is installed, the selection of 1.3.0 won't be installed, since a newer version is available.

Removing the 1.3.2 (and the corresponding .. whatever it is - two packages) using the remove tool in the Install new software... dialog, and then accepting the 1.3.0 offer from the choose connector dialog, fixed the problem.

Sorry, the "... , since a newer version is available" should read "... , since a newer version is *installed*".

There were some update site configuration issues which are resolved now. Also it is important to have both update sites (Subversive and Subversive connectors) enabled simultaneously: for example both "Early Access" sites:
http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/2.0/update-site/
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/subversive/0.7/update-site/
Because if there is and API incompatibility it could cause one of the two problems:
- connectors can't be installed due to incompatibility with the main plug-in version
- "No SVN client" issue when main plug-in where updated while connectors weren't.
