Description Kristian Duske CLA 2010-06-25 11:22:30 EDT
In some situations text is not rendered correctly when it is in texture mode. This has likely to do with problems in alpha blending. There are two screenshots where this is apparent attached to this bug.

Blending artefacts 1

In this screenshot you can see that one of the gray title bars renders its text content using texture fonts. The glyph textures are blended with the gray background, which yields artefacts at the glyph boundaries. The result is a very hard to read text and a very noticable jump when the LOD system switches to vector fonts.

Blending artefacts 2

This screenshot highlights problems when texture glyphs are blended with a non-opaque background, as is the case with the strings which are rendered below the blue box. Those strings should not have a gray background, so this is very likely a blending error.
