It looks that simple resource filters are not working with C projects. With Java projects it works as expected.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create or import C-Project

2. Add Resource Filter to one directory with files inside like "src_*.c" and "hdr_*.h", Dialog: Include only, Files, All children (recursive), Name, matches, "src_*.c"

3. All files are still available in project explorer. I expect that only "src_*.c" files should be there.

Can this be closed now that bug 317783 is fixed?

Marking as duplicate. I double-checked and indeed it doesn't work in 7.0 and it works in 8.0.2 as of today.
