Description
Lars Vogel
This is probably the bug where a view stops showing stuff. 1. Run a hello world application. 2. The 'Console' appears and shows content. 3. Ctrl+3 > Debug 4. The 'Console' view shows the content appropriately. 5. Ctrl+3 > Java 6. Close the 'Console' view. 7. Ctrl+3 > Console 8. Now it has nothing. 9. Ctrl+3 > Debug 10. Notice that the view is still showing stuff. This seems to be caused by the fix to bug 311163, between v1.3 and v1.4 of ModelServiceImpl. Because we select an element that's TBR flag is 'false', it doesn't actually get rendered, which explains why the 'Console' view has no content. One might question why the tab doesn't show stuff after setting the flag to 'true'. Created attachment 172691 [details]
StackRenderer patch v1
This will correct the code so that MPlaceholders will not be ignored. While it is correct that they should not be ignored, it feels to me as though something is still amiss.
If you just open the 'Console' view on a fresh workspace, you will notice it has no toolbars, and no content in its client area. Applied the patch, thanks Remy! |
