In our company we don't use "status whiteboard" feature, so we have it turned off in bugzilla configuration. But despite of turning it off, the "Status Whiteboard" field is still visible in task editor. I think it is a bug.
The same situation with "QA Contact" field - turned off in configuration, but visible in task editor.

I open https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=557183 for config.cgi but actual there is also no webservice method for this.

I think we should open an separate bug for the webserviece function.

Thoughts?

I close this bug because the remaining thinks are tracked  in bug# 338352.
