For connection profile, if go to edit Driver Definition and change driver files location, all connection profile properties e.g Host, Port, Database name, user name are reset.

First of all, we need a bit more information. I'm not able to tell when you say "Build Identifier: 3.5" what you are using. Are you using Eclipse 3.5? What version of DTP are you using? 1.7.x?

Second, what connection profile are you using? Sybase ASA/ASE? Generic JDBC? What? What drivers are you using and what are you going from and to?

Third, this behavior has not changed since probably version 1.0 or 1.5 of DTP. It's working as designed. Each driver potentially has a different URL scheme, therefore different needs as far as how to get host, port, etc.
