A xslt transformation for download stats none

In order to enable download stats for our p2 repos, we have to tweak the metadata generated by the publish.sh script: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox_p2_download_stats
The p2 publisher used in this script does not yet support adding those metadata, see bug 310132.

The p2 publisher still doesn't support metadata generation for download stats. There are also no possibilities to add p2-repository properties in build (e.g. using a p2.inf or anything else). If we want to have download stats for our p2-repositories released with Indigo we can:
* use a patched publisher application which can add the download stats
* manually tweak the metadata generated by our publish.sh script

I talked to Markus. For EPP they are using a xslt-transformion to extend the artifacts.xml with stats properties. I can adapt their xslt-transformation for our p2-repository. What do you thing about this idea?
