I have a bug search that returns all of the current SWT 'Mac OS X' and 'Mac OS X - Cocoa' bugs. The problem is that if I select the 'OS' column for the report I see 'Mac' and nothing else. Sorting on the field helps a bit, but then I have to remember whether 'Mac OS X' or 'Mac OS X - Cocoa' will come first in the sort.

I'm not sure what the best solution is -- I would imagine someone sorting on Windows would have the same problem. In my case, bugs that are strictly in the Mac Carbon port have a lower priority than Mac Cocoa bugs, so the OS field isn't just an interesting datapoint.

If there were some way to set a short name for the OS field, and then use that in the lists, that would be helpful. There's always renaming to 'Cocoa - Mac OS X' and 'Carbon - Mac OS X', but that ends up making the Mac values different from all of the others.

The template sets the maximum length of the OS field to 4 characters. I've extended it to 9 -- this also helps identify the various Windows flavours too.

I meant, I extended it to 14 characters.

Looks good! I'll take it. Thanks for the fast turnaround.
