When a connection profile establishes a connection, its latest version information may get updated, which triggers file updates to the default persisted profile store.  However, such file updates are not necessary for a transient connection profile as it is not even persisted in the profile store.

The attached patch would trigger profile store file updates, only if a connection profile with version updates is a persistent type.  This would thus avoid unnecessary processing when updating the version info of a transient profile.
