Description Ian Skerrett CLA 2010-06-10 17:27:57 EDT
I am using RC4 of the Java IDE package Build 20100610-0703

Steps to recreate:

1. From Eclipse MPC install Find Bugs solution and restart
2. Assuming it is successful, then uninstall it.
3. Go to Yoxos and then to the Popular Tab
4. Check the Install Software... and see if the yoxos update sites have been added [not sure if you need to do this?]
5. Go back to the Eclipse MP
6. Try to install FindBugs

I get this error message

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=epp.package.java, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: osgi.bundle,org.eclipse.team.cvs.ssh,3.2.100.I20090508-2000

On any solution from Eclipse MP I get this error.

I can't reproduce this problem with the latest build. Please retest reopen this bug if you still experience the problem. You can install the latest MPC build from this repository: https://build.eclipse.org/hudson/job/epp-mpc-nightly/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/site.p2/

Using the binaries released for https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=316362 I cannot reproduce this problem.

This sounds like a classical P2 error where the available meta-data did not match artifacts on the download servers, e.g. due to a stale mirror. Ususally this can be resolved with a restart.
