Description Ian Bull CLA 2010-06-10 15:19:31 EDT
I have cloned a git repo and made a number of local commits. (origin-A-B-C). If I create a patch (in the history view) starting from C, the patch is against B, which is of little help to those who I wish to send the patch to.

It would be nice if I could select all the commits and create a patch set (a set of patch files) or better yet, a single patch file in which all the patches are appended (I'm not sure if Git supports this).

Unlike bug 316521, in this case I don't wish to re-write history.

[Batch change] Remove passed Target Milestones

If anyone on CC list is going to fix/implement this, feel free to assign a new, post-1.3/2.0, target milestone.
