Description Paul Webster CLA 2010-06-08 20:25:44 EDT
When I closed the sync view in my Java perspective it was still there when I switched to my Team Sync perspective. But the view toolbar as gone.

I had to open another view and switch between them so that it came back.

Cannot reproduce this anymore (see bug 318370). I am pretty sure this was fixed by Eric's changes for bug 304863.

This bug has returned in epic proportions.

1. Window > Open Perspective > Other... > CVS Repository Browsing
2. Ctrl+F8 > Java
3. Window > Show View > Other... > CVS > CVS Repositories
4. Ctrl+F8 > CVS Repository Browsing
5. The 'CVS Repositories' view now has no toolbar.
6. Close the view.
7. Ctrl+F8 > Java
8. The toolbar is also missing in the 'Java' perspective.
9. Activate the 'Declaration' view.
10. Activate the 'CVS Repositories' view. No good.
11. Close the 'CVS Repositories' view.
12. Window > Show View > Other... > CVS > CVS Repositories
13. Toolbar still missing.

This can be observed in an inner and on I20100713-2016. Interestingly enough, the toolbar is missing in step 5 but if you activate the view then it'll suddenly appear. That doesn't keep it around though as the events will unfold in the same way (the toolbar goes missing "forever").

Cannot reproduce.
