It is currently difficult to know which repositories are missing credentials. This can be painful if the users changes data directories, workspaces, machines, etc. In order to make this explicit we can decorate repositories with a "?" overlay if they are missing credentials and not marked anonymous.

I like that idea. How about a warning icon for repositories that are not marked offline? This condition usually indicates a problem.

I am not sure if we can obtain this information from the secure store without opening it though could make this difficult to implement.

Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1].

We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub.
