Description
Davy Meers
The workflow issue that has to be worked out to support this, is that the resolution (calculating dependencies) is done against the current profile, and the current profile could change as a result of the previous operation. So we can queue the user request, but we have to resolve afterward. If everything works, that's not a big deal. It just means that if things don't work, we may need to launch the wizard in some kind of error state to allow the user to sort it out. This would be a nice improvement. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. This is still the main reported error on the Marketplace reports for my plugins: "Cannot continue the operation. There is another install operation in progress." |
